Microvideo Digital Keyers allow captions or graphics to be added to a background picture, with control over cuts and fades. Transitions can be initiated by GPI, RS232 or front mounted or remote panel controls. The mix function allows a fade between 2 sources so that either unit can be used as a simple two channel mixer. The stand-alone KEYS-10 comes complete with a look-ahead preview output which provides confidence in the quality and accuracy of the next scene going on air. Microvideo Keyers are transparent to embedded audio and other ancillary data.
The highest picture quality is assured through the 12 bit internal processing. Inputs on both the KEY-200 and the KEY-S10 are synchronized via a line sync feature, avoiding unnecessary delays caused by frame-sync options found on lower performance units. With built-in power-fail bypass Microvideo keyers are perfect for critical program stream applications. Both units also support 525 and 625 line video formats.
The KEY-200's compact size allows multiple modules in a 1U frame, making it ideal for multi-level keying applications.
