The FR1U and FR3U are 1RU and 3RU modular frames, designed to accommodate up to 15 series 200 modules.

Each frame has the choice of 1 or 2 power supplies which avoids redundancy by providing a second power supply which can automatically take over the full load should one supply fail. In the case of the FR3U series, the dual power supplies are configured for current sharing to increase the lifespan of supplies in the frame. All power supplies are hot-swappable for 24/7 operation.

The frames boast integral cooling as standard, the air is taken from the front and channelled evenly throughout the system to ensure maximum life and performance and negating the need for valuable rack space above and below the unit to be used as ventilation. The heavy-duty hinged front door panel lowers allowing easy card insertion.
